Veterinarians

Dr. Robert Nathan
DVM
Robert Nathan graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. He has extensive experience treating dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, rabbits, ferrets, and other exotic animals. His passion for exotic animals, particularly snakes, began as a child and led him to dedicate his career to veterinary medicine. Dr. Nathan became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) in 2015; he is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the Association of Avian Veterinarians (AAV), the American Association of Zoo Veterinarians (AAZV), the Association of Reptilian and Amphibian Veterinarians (ARAV). He has served as a board member of the ARAV and edited the Roundtable for the Journal of Herpetological Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Nathan works with the Akron Zoo and is a veterinarian for the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.

Dr. Stephen Faust
DVM
Stephen Faust is a 1995 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He has vast experience treating dogs, cats, and a wide range of exotic species. Dr. Faust has a particular interest in orthopedic surgery. He has completed advanced training in several specialized orthopedic procedures. He is an AVMA and the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association (OVMA) member.

Dr. Luis G. Iturriaga
Dr. Luis G. Iturriaga II received his bachelor’s degree in Zoology and Spanish from Miami University in 2004 and his D.V.M. from Kansas State University in 2010. He has worked at Sharon Center Veterinary Hospital since 2017. He shares his passion for veterinary medicine with his father, a veterinarian. He enjoys spending time with his dog, family, and friends in his free time. He also has a family alpaca farm that he tends.

Dr. Anna Huber

Dr. Jennifer Ziegman
DVM
Dr. Jennifer Ziegman graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. Since graduation, Dr. Ziegman has stayed in Northeast Ohio to practice veterinary medicine. She has been practicing in the Medina area since 2007. Dr. Ziegman has extensive experience in small animal medicine, particularly in preventative medicine and client education. She is married to Andrew, and together they have two children.
Veterinary Support Team

Celeste, Lead Veterinary Technician and Inventory Manager
I have been with Sharon Center Veterinary Hospital since 1999. I attended Cuyahoga Community College and am the lead Registered Veterinary Technician. I take pride in my loyalty and dependability. I am a hard worker who treats every patient like my own. I have a dog and eight cats. I like to go to classic car shows with my 1963 Chevy Suburban when I am not at work. I also love to go to the beach with my husband and son.

Sharon, Registered Veterinary Technician
I have been in the veterinary field for over 12 years. I attended Tri-C and am a Registered Veterinary Technician. I like to treat my patients as if they were my own. I must build a relationship with the patient and client so they feel comfortable in our hospital. I enjoy bowling, watching baseball, and being outside.

Rachel, Registered Veterinary Technician
I graduated from Wadsworth High School and Stautzenberger College. I started at Sharon Center Veterinary Hospital in 2016 in the Kennel Department. Now, I work as a Registered Veterinary Technician. I pride myself on my compassion and eagerness to help clients and patients. I enjoy hiking, traveling, and watching football with my family in my free time. I have two dogs, Mallow and Bubba. I also have two cats named Monty and Marilyn.

Katie, Registered Veterinary Technician
I have been working in the veterinary field since 2016 and have been at Sharon Center Vet since 2018. I am a Registered Veterinary Technician, and I graduated from Cuyahoga Community College. I take pride in my compassion and the care I give to our patients, whether they are sick or just coming in for vaccines. In my free time, I like to hang out with family and friends, sleep, and hike with my dog, Levy.

Destini, Veterinary Assistant
I graduated from the Medina County Career Center where I studied Animal Care Management. I started working at Sharon Center Veterinary Hospital in 2021. I joined the hospital in the Kennel Department. I now work as a Veterinary Assistant. I pride myself in giving the best possible care to the animals I look after or care for. I have a large fur family consisting of 4 cats and 3 dogs. I enjoy going on walks with my dogs and spending time with friends and family when not at work.

Keyiona, Veterinary Assistant
I started working at Sharon Center Veterinary Hospital in 2020 as a Veterinary Assistant. I pride myself on the care I give and the patience I have with our clients. I love when seeing patients improve because of what our team did to help them. I attended Brown Mackie College. I have a dog named Mytis and I love hiking trails, roller skating, and spending time with family and friends.

Shayla, Veterinary Assistant
I graduated from Medina High School and Medina Career Center. I enjoy shopping, playing with my animals, and hanging out with friends and family. I have been in the vet field for five years but joined Sharon Center Veterinary Hospital in 2019 as a Veterinary Assistant. I pride myself in how I offer clients and their pets a friend they can count on. I like to help clients with their pet’s needs and answer any questions they may have.

Stefanie, Veterinary Assistant & Groomer
I began my career in the animal field as a groomer nine years ago. I started at Sharon Center Veterinary Hospital in 2020, working as a groomer and a vet assistant. I have also worked in the kennel department and as a customer service representative. I pride myself on being able to provide a calm and comforting environment in an otherwise stressful situation. I graduated from GlenOak High School. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, reading, and training with my dog, Nova.

Jeanine, Pharmacy Technician
I didn’t start my career in veterinary medicine; I am a retired RT (Respiratory Therapist). I studied at Stark State College and spent 20 years in human medicine, and after retiring, I found veterinary medicine to be so satisfying. I have worked at Sharon Center Veterinary hospital since 2020. I take pride in my communication skills in explaining preventative care and treatment options to clients so they feel confident and understand their pet needs. I have two Yorkshire Terriers named Bentley and Ellie Mae. Outside work, I love to do activities with my mom and hit the casinos!

Cassidy, Kennel Technician & Marketing Coordinator
I began working in the Kennel Department at Sharon Center Veterinary Hospital in 2015. I am also the Marketing Coordinator. I pride myself on how I treat the animals that come in for boarding and daycare; I love them like my own. My favorite thing is seeing how excited our daycare dogs get when they come in every morning and see me. I attended Kent State University. I have two huskies, Baker and Jasper. I also have two cats named Sage and Enzo. I enjoy photography, traveling, and hiking with my dogs.

I started working at Sharon Center Veterinary Hospital in the Kennel Department in 2016. I pride myself in knowing I go above and beyond for any animal I care for. Whether it be boarding, daycare, or hospitalized patients, I do my best to ensure they have the most comfortable experience here. I love and care for them as if they were my own. I have a dog named Pepper and a cat named Nemo. I studied at Kent State at Stark. Outside the hospital, I enjoy reading, hiking (sometimes with Nemo), and traveling.

Andrea, Lead Customer Service Representative
I’ve worked in customer service since the age of 16, and then moved on to an installation manager at a loc family owned company for 13 years. I then took 10 years off from the working life to raise my 3 children. After raising my 3 hildren, I decided it was time to start working again. I star d at SCVH in August of 2020 as a customer service rep and in a very short time, moved up into the Lead Customer Service Rep position. Being raised in Sharon Center, I know many of ou clients and their families. I pride myself on the relationships I hav with our clients and giving my love to their pets. I love to get to know ch client on a personal level.
In my spare time, I enjoy doing my nails at home and online shopping! I love to laugh and make others laugh. love spending time with my family and camping in our travel trailer.

Christy, Practice Manager
I was born and raised in Illinois where I graduated from Lincoln College. I began my veterinary career there in 2011. I moved to Texas in 2014 where I continued my veterinary career. I joined the SCVH family after moving to Ohio in 2019 with my husband Michael and 2 children. Together we have 2 cats: Thor and Nicodemus as well as 3 dogs: Ruby the chihuahua, Anubis the Xoloitzcuintli and Leeroy Jenkins an English bulldog.
When I am not at the hospital you can find me spending time with my family, camping in our RV or trying out new Hello Fresh recipes.
